Change a Life and the World: Your Gift of Education Will be Matched and Doubled
EDUCATING THE HEART, MIND, AND SPIRIT
Celebrating a Decade of Quality Education at Shechen
Three hundred students, ages 5 to 18, are enrolled in the Shechen Primary and Secondary School, part of Shechen Monastery in Nepal. This is their home. Here they live, study, play, grow, and learn to care for one another — fostering deep relationships and personal development.
Shechen School offers classes from Kindergarten through Grade 12, providing a rare opportunity to receive both a high-quality secular education and traditional spiritual training.
Our balanced curriculum includes languages, math, science, sacred arts, and Buddhist Studies.
This year marks ten years of leadership under Principal Jhabindra Subedi. Through his vision — and the generosity of our committed donors — Shechen School has become a model of excellence in Nepal.
Rooted in a centuries-old wisdom tradition, our transformative approach helps each child awaken their unique potential. Our students leave prepared to serve their communities and the world with skill, purpose, and compassion.
